A new City and County B&B licensing bill died at a meeting of the Honolulu City Council on Weds., Dec. 16.
A draft of Bill 08-07 stated:
- B&Bs would be allowed in residential-zoned areas, but the homeowner must live on the property.
- A B&B operation would not have to be in the same structure where the homeowner lives, but must be on the same property.
- Each B&B establishment to have no more than 3 bedrooms, and a maximum of 2 guests per bedroom.
